If you lose your phone: Log in to myhopcard.com or the Hop app, select the card that was lost or stolen, then select “Report Lost or Stolen.” This will deactivate the card, but your balance will stay on your account. You can use the Hop app to reactivate your card if your phone turns up, or transfer the card to a new phone.
Or, you can use Apple’s lost-phone feature: Log in to icloud.com and select “Find iPhone,” then select your device. “Lost Mode” will temporarily suspend use of a Hop card on the device until it is authenticated.
If you get a new phone: Log into the Hop app on your new phone, select your virtual Hop card, then tap “Move to this device.”
Note: You can move a virtual Hop card to a new device up to five times using the Hop app. After that, you’ll need to contact us to move it again. Our Customer Service team is available between 7:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. daily at 1-844-MYHOPCARD (694-6722).
