What to do when an elevator is out of service

We know it's frustrating to encounter an elevator that is out of service. We're working to improve reliability of our elevators, particularly those serving several MAX stations where outages commonly occur. In the case of a broken elevator:

  1. Check the trimet.org/elevators page to see alternatives you can use when an elevator is out of service. 
  2. Sign up for elevator outage alerts at trimet.org/email. 
  3. Report the issue to TriMet Customer Service or tell a nearby TriMet employee. 
  4. Contact TriMet Customer Service for help.
